MARLOW
Our neighbouring market town of Marlow has
really upped its game as a fashion shopping
destination with no fewer than five new stores
opening recently.
New boys in town are surf-loving brothers
Andy and Mark Jordan who have set up
Jam
Industries Ltd
which produces ‘surf inspired
city wear’ for men and women.
The five month pop-up shop in Marlow is a
cool, stripped-back space which feels
refreshingly coastal (see picture above), but
houses a range of beautifully made, affordable
shirts, jumpers, jackets, trousers and T-shirts
for both men and women.
The surfing duo already has successful shops
in Devon and Cornwall.
Further up the High Street is swanky new
boutique
Brookes
which carries all the
major high end denim brands as well as
Joseph, Joie, Velvet, Set and cult Winter
coats from Harris Wharf.
With the closing of Plume, Landmark and
Repertoire Womenswear, Brookes has swept
in to claim the luxury smart casual market in
Marlow.
Shoe Emporium
opened its doors
recently with a befitting company tag line of
“ Something for Everybody” and footwear
collections for the whole family at very
affordable prices. With a vast selection of
worldwide brands and catering up to size 9
and down to size 2.
Another launch to complement the Shoe
Emporium is the
The Emporium

very fashionable ladies clothing from Paris
and Italy with good quality fashionable
clothing at
affordable
prices.
The
Emporium
provides
customers
with a full

occasions,
with a full

fascinators and hats to match in most styles
and colours.
The store is arranged in colour blocks, which
include teal, maroon, olive, blush, navy, grey,
silver and this season’s hit colour, yellow
ochre. Pieces include faux fur jackets, coats,
wraps, evening dresses and day dresses.
Stocks
has become a familiar face on Bell
Street in Henley, and has now opened a sister
store on Spittal Street in Marlow carrying its
eclectic mix of gifts, accessories, stationery,
cashmere, jackets and shirts.
ReallyWild,

excellent styling advice. Pop in to explore the
new styles that have just arrived. Discover
Liberty silk shirts, feminine dresses, tailored
tweed coats and more.
Winser London
has moved from its High
Street store front with bowed, Tudor-esque
window to an airier property, next to The
Butcher’s Tap
on Spittal
Street, an
altogether
different space,
with a forward-
thinking vibe.
